The Legal Stuff
We believe it is artistically important that our contributors retain the copyright to their own work. Therefore, all individual contributors retain their own publication rights. Where a piece of writing Superlative has already published is reproduced, Superlative requires only to be credited as the place of original publication.
All work is submitted by contributors as previously unpublished work, and subsequently selected by Superlative’s editors. Superlative therefore cannot accept responsibility or liability for any infringement of copyright or otherwise arising out of the publication thereof. Wherever work has been previously published, Superlative credits the appropriate publishers.

By submitting work to Superlative, writers are agreeing that they are happy for Superlative to publish their work in the current issue, or on Superlative's website, and in audio format. When a submitted piece is selected by Superlative's editors, contributors are contacted to confirm acceptance. If contributors are non-responsive, Superlative still reserves the right to publish the piece under the writer's name.

Writers may contact us at any time up until publication to withdraw a piece of work. After a manuscript has been sent for publication, we will be unable to withdraw work.

Ross Turner, Editor-in-Chief, takes sole responsibility for the Superlative name and rights.

Regarding postage, we always retain proofs of postage, and send journals to contributors in as timely a manner as we are able. That being said, we are not in control of the postal system itself; if orders do go astray in transit, we endeavour to send out replacements, but might not always be able to. To aid this entire process, we always send journals tracked, and supply tracking numbers.
